How to Stabilize Shake Videos on Android

Android smartphones currently have an average OIS capability (Optical Image Stabilization) and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) to make minimal shaky video recordings. But in middle-class smartphones or below, the video stabilization feature is only limited to EIS.

Although claimed to have increased in recording, not a few videos produced experienced shocks, especially when recording while moving. Fortunately now Google has provided a special feature that can make it easier for users to present more stable videos.

Through Google Photos services that are usually automatically installed on every smartphone, this feature can be used directly for free. How to use it is quite easy.

First open the Google Photos application and look for the shake video file that you want to make more stable. Then click the edit button in the middle and select the Stabilize menu. Wait a minute until the process is complete. The duration of the video determines whether the video stabilization process is fast or not.

If the process is complete, the results can be immediately seen by pressing the play button. To save the video, click the Save button in the upper right corner.

That’s how to make rocking videos more stable with the help of the Google Photos application. Besides the stabilization feature, there are also options to rotate or cut the video as desired.
