Since it was first launched globally in August . ASUS finally officially brought the two latest TUF Gaming series, FX505 and FX705 to the laptop market in Indonesia. Both of these laptops are made specifically for beginning gamers and are sold at lower prices than the Republic of Gamers family. The following are some of the advantages of ASUS TUF Gaming FX505 and FX705 laptops.
TUF Gaming FX505 and FX705 are equipped with a range of military-standard MIL-STD-810G tests. This laptop has survived in various conditions including exposure to solar radiation, altitude, and extreme temperatures. In a demonstration conducted by ASUS, the FX505 was also able to survive from accidental to fall on the table.
144 Hz IPS screen
Both of these ASUS TUF Gaming FX505 and FX705 screens come with NanoEdge technology which allows the screen bezel to be thinner measuring 6.5mm. Then the screen panel uses IPS-level with 100% sRGB color gamut that is claimed to be able to display consistent colors, even when viewed from extreme positions.
For a more optimal playing experience, the screen has been supported by a 144 Hz refresh rate. This of course can provide an ultra-smooth display compared to a screen that is only 60Hz and minimizes the blur. The difference between the two versions is on the screen, the FX505 has a 15.6-inch screen while the FX705 has a screen size of 17.3 inches.
ASUS TUF Gaming FX505 and FX705 have keyboards that are also optimized for games. The embedded HyperStrike technology is capable of more accurate typing and improved ergonomics thanks to a desktop-inspired layout with different WASD key groups, wider space buttons and separate arrow keys.
The support of ASUS AURA RGB makes this keyboard can display RGB backlighting in all zones that can be controlled via the TUF Aura Core panel. ASUS claims that this keyboard has endurance of up to 20 million times and 1.8mm key travel.
In the specification sector, the ASUS TUF Gaming FX505 and FX705 are supported by the 8th generation Intel Core Core i7-8750H processor with speeds up to 3.9GHz, 23% higher than the previous generation. This latest processor allows faster and more efficient multitasking, including simultaneous play, recording, and streaming.
While for the graphics processor there are three choices, namely NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 4GB, GTX 1050TI 4GB and GTX 1060 6GB. For storage, ASUS relies on 8 GB LPDDR4 2666MHz RAM, 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD, and SSD that supports up to 128 GB.
Laptop gaming is synonymous with excessive heat. ASUS overcomes this by embedding the exclusive HyperCool technology which consists of the Anti-Dust Cooling (ADC) system and Fan Overboost technology. Furthermore, each part of both laptops can function to improve the stability and efficiency of the system.
